School Production

We enjoyed presenting our legend about Rata's Canoe with Room 10.  We practised and practised our bird dances.

 We pretended to fly like fantails across the stage. Jhaevhan, Ashton, Jesse and Reghan pretended to be kiwis and they scared the spiders.

 We liked being up on the stage for the show.  All our families came to watched and they clapped and clapped when we got down from the stage.  They liked our singing and dancing.

Chiefs Day!

Term 3 - new children

We have all come back to school ready for learning and we have had 4 new children join us in Room  5. Welcome Reghan, Kobe, Rosie and this week Zeita - Maree!

 We have been learning about managing ourselves at school, helping each other and being kind and caring.
It was fun painting our faces last Friday - Go the Chiefs!

  This week we are watching some of the Olympics and we are excited when New Zealand win medals. We wonder how many medals we will win altogether.  Keep watching!

Room 12 Buddies

Each week our buddies from Room 12 come and visit us, so that we can share our learning with them.  This week they read us a story and we then we read one of our little books to them.  Thank you room 12 for being our buddies.   Ka kite ano - we will see you again soon.

Room 5 - 2012

Kia ora and welcome to Room 5's fantastic learning journey at Vardon School.  Mrs Anderson is our teacher.  We started at the beginning of Term 2 and we are learning together, both inside and outside the classroom.  We are happy to share our learning with you, so keep following on our class Blog.
